TOP ENTREPRENEURS WIN $15K PRIZE POOL AT ENTREPRENEURSHIP FOR ALL
ACCELERATOR AWARDS CELEBRATION
LAWRENCE, Mass. — On September 10th, Entrepreneurship For All (EforAll) held its sixth Accelerator Awards Celebration at the Everett Mill in Lawrence. This concluded the Summer Accelerator, a 12-week program that has helped fifteen early-stage entrepreneurs move their businesses forward. During the event, EforAll awarded a $15,000 prize pool to its top entrepreneurs. Anita Worden, CEO of Solectria and serial entrepreneur, gave the keynote address to the over 120 audience members. She spoke of her experiences and challenges and offered empowering words to bolster continued innovation and entrepreneurship in our communities.
Here is the full list of winners:
$5,000 – Rosa Aleman (Lawrence resident)
Spiral Arts Multimedia: A for-profit company connecting community-based
businesses and organizations with local artists working across mediums.
$3,000 – Castro-Yves Arboite (Lowell resident)
GiveWave Studios: A design company specializing in cosplay costume design.
$2,500 – Joyce Bellefeuille (Dunstable resident)
The Power of Flowers Project: A non-profit that upcycles flowers from one day events
to create beautiful bouquets that enhances people’s lives.
$2,000 – Kim Yeasir (Cambridge resident)
Thrive Communities: A non-profit aiming to empower reentry resident by
engaging them in circles of support and accountability.
$1,500 – Michael Trombly (Merrimac resident)
Fun Face Express: Mobile face painting company that provides memorable
experiences for kids and employment opportunities for teens.
$1,000 – Ashwin Mysore (Cambridge Resident)
Budease: A mobile app that helps college students connect with new friends
who have similar interests.
$500 – Angelina Jimenez (Lawrence Resident)
Bocaditos: A gourmet empanada food truck.
“EforAll came into my life at the perfect time. I was stuck and did not have any guidance on how to move forward. In just a few short weeks, EforAll will continue its effort to help entrepreneurs succeed with its 2015 EforAll Pitch Contest Series.
