2014 EforAll Makers Pitch Contest

2014 EforAll Makers Pitch Contest

On September 25th, Entrepreneurship for All held the 2014 EforAll Makers Pitch Contest at Onyx Room at the Western Ave Studios in Lowell. Nearly 100 people came out to the largest artist studio east of the Mississippi out to see the region’s most innovative products on display.

As with most EforAll events, people from all walks of life with various types of ventures took part. Finalists included a retired Raytheon computer programmer looking to launch the next big app, a local artist promoting her surreal and unapologetic art, and a father of seven trying to provide for his family through his food truck.

“My experience at the EforAll pitch contest was very exhilarating,” said Thomas Hall of The Food Train (the third place winner of the event). “I recommend this experience to anyone starting a business. This opportunity could not have come at a greater time. The prize money will help obtain additional permits we need to expand our food truck to other cities.”

A special thanks to COOL Lowell & Lowell Makes for being the event co-sponsors & to the Onyx Room for hosting us!
