My education is in engineering and I spent most of my corporate career in leadership positions in new business development, strategy development, new initiatives, as well as in profit and loss roles running programs. I have worked in large company, small business unit, start-up and turnaround environments guiding complex programs and new opportunities to proper conclusions.

Virginia is President of Soundboard Advisors, LLC, working with individuals and organizations seeking improved results toward greater success through business coaching. A piano soundboard represents an inside-out transformation, where the string vibrations inside the instrument are converted to the music we hear on the outside. At Soundboard Advisors, Virginia applies an inside-out, tailored, developmental results-based approach, tapping into the full potential of her clients to make them more effective, achieve success, and sustain purpose and balance. Virginia previously enjoyed a successful career as a broad based executive leader with 28 years of corporate experience working in leadership positions in new business development, strategy development and new initiatives as well as program management and engineering. She worked in large company, small business unit, start-up and turnaround environments guiding complex programs and new opportunities to proper conclusions. Virginia is certified in the D.I.AL.O.G. organizational assessment based on the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Program performance excellence criteria. Virginia is also certified in three personal assessments: the DISC IndexTM measuring an individual’s behavioral and communication preferences; the Values IndexTM delivering a comprehensive understanding of a person’s motivational preferences; and the Attribute IndexTM providing information about how a person thinks and makes decisions. Virginia holds a BS and ME in Electrical Engineering and has taken over 30 professional courses in leadership, business winning, program management, and engineering topics.
