Bio

With a focus in emerging technologies, I have a strength in identifying new markets and managing product lifecycle development to market launch for start-ups and early stage companies. My experience includes identifying and defining new markets, products, market requirements, product roadmaps, business plans, product development, go-to-market strategies and P&L's. I am passionate about taking innovations and transforming them into successful businesses. My style as a mentor is to listen carefully to business goals and aspirations, and provide positive feedback and suggestions for execution, with an investors mindset and a global outlook. When working with start-ups, I see instability and uncertainty not as a barrier but as an enabler. My guidance is meant to reassure, motivate, and inspire -- and in the process hopefully make the organization much stronger. My personal belief is that to excel in life and work, you have to extend yourself—even to the point of failure. When I make mistakes , especially when those mistakes shed light on a new business insight, I am never disappointed. Here's what several of the EforAll entrepreneur's had to say about working with me: "Pat’s business acumen and creativity were instrumental in helping me get my new technology start-up off the ground. As a mentor of mine, she generously provided guidance and advice. I value and trust her opinion and applaud her generosity in helping aspiring entrepreneurs get started." Gary Chamberlain, President, ProVizual. Tomo360 Founder Susu Wong commented: " I had a wonderful opportunity to work with Pat who was my mentor at the Sandbox Winter Accelerator Program. With in-depth knowledge of product marketing, new business planning and marketing strategies, she could communicate complicated technologies into compelling marketing messages. She is well organized and has great writing skills. Pat has a keen understanding of what it takes to launch a startup. Having her as my mentor was a great learning experience for me. She was very supportive and worked tirelessly with me throughout my program. I was very fortunate to have Pat in my mentor team, she is simply outstanding and I would highly recommend her."
